the latest
so i haven't really been posting stuff about my life, just pictures of daivd. and i don't want to turn into the girl that constantly talks about her guy - it can be annoying. but its hard when all the exciting things that happen are with him! take yesterday for example. it was a typical david day - jam packed with as much as he can fit in!
first off, i went to school with him in the morning and worked on homework while he was in class. then we went back to his place had lunch (did you know that you can get tuna that isn't in a can and has different flavors!? lemmon pepper tuna is awesome!) next can some shooting. i LOVE having my own bow :-) walt, their neighbor just gave it to me one evening complete with quiver and some arrows! we both shot pretty good. im so excited to have an activity outdoors that i'm decently good at. its so much fun. after some target practice we had some time to kill. he is a big fan of power naps in the lazy boy chair so while he was snoozing i did some more homework. sleep became too tantalizing for me too so i took my own "power nap". then we were off to the golf course. he had a lesson and i just went to the driving range to hit some balls. out of 1 1/2 buckets i only missed 3 shots (as in didn't actually make contact with the ball) so that is an improvement. then it was off to north salem (kiezer). i swear if david's friends aren't already married they are getting married this summer! we went over to BJ's so david could try on the wedding clothes. i was impressed with what the bride and groom had chosen. a nice white linen shirt with a simple vertical emboydered pattern and khahi colored linen pants with lether flip flops. very simple, summery, and very comfortable, yet classy. next came the mall. we are going to las vegas next tuesday (yay!) for another wedding so he needed to find a shirt. we walked into the store, he picked up two shirts and he was done. it must have taken all of 5 minutes! by this time we were both pretty hungry and nothing in the mall looked tantalizing so we went back to dallas and had some sushi :-) there happened to be a blue grass band playing right across the street so we had some live entertainment while enjoying our dinner. some time during the day he was offered the chance to go to the coast today and do some fishing in the ocean. he still hasn't caught me a salmon yet so i told him he should go. so before he left (versus getting up at 3:30am to leave) he cut off my arrows (i have my own beautiful arrows to loose now). i want to learn how to do it all so that next time i can do it myself. oh and just in case anyone wanted to know i learned that my draw lenght is 25". he took off around 8:30 to the coast and i decided to go back home to albany cuz my roomie was home alone. then i get a call from him this morning and they couldn't go out cuz the ocean was too rough! so much for salmon tonight :-( but the pic is one that he caught last year. i'm still hoping for one! *fingers crossed*
